Unlike conventional shortened antennas available on the market, the KV240-CONTEST features elements approximately 85% of the length of a full-size 40-meter Yagi, placing it in a unique category of high-performance antennas. This carefully engineered 15% size reduction decreases weight, wind load, and mechanical stress while preserving performance characteristics remarkably close to those of a full-size design.

The antenna was developed through extensive electromagnetic modeling, computer simulations, structural calculations, and real-world field validation.
