KV4B-MONSTER

18 ELEMENTS QUAD BAND YAGI 10/15/20/40m, DUAL FEED

The KV4B-MONSTER is the result of combining two high-performance KV ANTENAS designs, originally developed to meet the needs of the most demanding DX and CONTEST stations. It combines, in a single structure, the efficiency of the KV101520-CONTEST (10/15/20m) with the robustness and performance of the KV240-CONTEST (40m, 85% size), creating a quad-band Yagi antenna unique in Latin America.

More than just a new antenna, the KV4B-MONSTER represents a new level of engineering applied to amateur radio.

Some features of the KV4B-MONSTER:

• 3” square tube gondola with reinforced steel cable truss;

• Central plate with 8mm thick aluminum sheet and U-clamps for fixing to masts up to 2.1/2” inches;

• Aluminum profiles with UV-resistant STAUFF polypropylene clamps to fix the elements to the gondola;

• Pre-assembled support system;

• Dual feed: Feed busbar for 10/15/20m and independent feed for 40m;

• Stainless steel and trivalent steel screws;

• Disassembles into pieces up to 220 centimeters to enable low-cost transport;

• Extended service life;

• 180cm central spacing for installation in the middle of the tower or towers with elevator;

• Element distribution:

7 elements for 10m

5 elements for 15m

4 elements for 20m

2 elements for 40m (85% size)
