The KV80-BOX Tuner Kit is an accessory that allows you to increase the bandwidth of our KV180 antenna, making it possible to operate in the entire 80 meter band (3.5Mhz) whether SSB, DIGITAL or CW using the same antenna. The kit consists of a tuning box that is attached to the antenna and a controller that is located in the Shack. The controller is connected to the tuning box through a control cable (not included in the kit) and the antenna tuning is changed in four points: SSB 1, SSB 2, DIGITAL and CW according to the four positions of the controller.

The KV80-BOX Tuner Kit can also be used on antennas from other manufacturers as long as the length is equal to or greater than our KV180 dipole (16 meters), including wire antennas. Some adjustments may be necessary on antennas other than the KV180 dipole as directed in the instruction and operation manual.
